Send Hunger Packing runs events throughout the year in West Windsor-Plainsboro to raise funds and bring awareness to our cause.
We would love for you to show your support at some of the events listed below! They are a great way to get involved in the community and help out those in need.
Monday, January 20th: MLK Day of Service
From all the members of the Send Hunger Packing West Windsor-Plainsboro (SHuP WW-P) team and the Mercer Street Friends Not for Profit that SHuP WW-P works with, we send a “THANK YOU” to our community partners-the West Windsor Arts Center, the West Windsor Human Relations Council, Mayor Marathe, the African American Parent Support Group, Boy Scout Troop 40, the Girl Scouts, the Joyful Gratitude Group, Dr. Shah and his team from COE-the center for Orthodontic Excellence in West Windsor and McCaffrey’s who both before and on January, 20, 2020 made MLK Day a success. And a shout out to the presenters, Dr. Smith, Dr. Fenster, and Vaishnavi Vednere, a student poet.
And to all and everyone who came out to support Send Hunger Packing WW-P and the other organizations-RISE, Crochet for a Cause, and TASk- a heartfelt thank you. West Windsor has shown it is, as Dr. King asked for, “ a caring community.” The work done for the children and others yesterday-MLK Day- will have lasting affect and do good for months. May Dr. King's memory be for a blessing.
